Extrem Solar Integrated Tank EHPF

The Extrem Solar EHPF storage tank incorporates new technology, featuring an advanced vitreous enamel inner lining (Enamel Blue Inner Liner) that is fused to solid steel at approximately 900 °C. This process creates a smooth, durable surface that effectively resists corrosion caused by hot water and chemical exposure, ensuring a long service life. It is especially suitable for hard water conditions, such as in Mauritius.

The tank is manufactured using high-quality materials sourced from leading global manufacturers. In fact, the enamel coating is supplied by Ferro (USA), the world’s largest enamel producer, while the inner tank steel is provided by Baosteel, China’s leading steel manufacturer. Surface preparation is carried out using grit from W Abrasives (France), a global leader in abrasives. The outer tank casing is made of 0.5mm stainless steel, providing added durability and resistance to external corrosion.

For enhanced thermal efficiency, the tank features CFC-free polyurethane foam insulation of 50mm, which is injected between the inner and outer tank. This insulation provides an excellent heat retention barrier, significantly reducing standby heat loss and lowering energy consumption.

The unit is equipped with a 1.5kW low-density Incoloy 800 immersion-type electric heating element, along with an adjustable mechanical thermostat, ensuring reliable and for long-lasting performance.

To further protect against corrosion, each tank includes a magnesium sacrificial anode rod, a proven solution that protects and extends its lifespan.

For safety, every unit is fitted with a pressure and temperature relief (P/T) valve from Watts (Canada). This device safeguards the tank from excessive pressure and temperature by safely discharging water through a drain pipe when necessary.

Designed for versatility, the Extrem Solar EHPF storage tank can operate as a standalone electric water heater or be integrated with systems such as solar collectors, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
